poppies

These poppy petals kill me. If you turn them upside down when they fall off they look like little skirts. I want a poppy petal skirt.

    I have an emotional, visceral reaction to these. They're freaking fantastic. Never seen anything like them on the LA market.

    Hi Megan and Landish Studios, these came from the LA market!
    They are actually not the variety I was supposed to receive, but they keep coming instead of oriental poppies. I think these are actually opium poppies....

    Seriously? Would you mind telling which vendor? I've never seen those... there's usually only one vendor in LA (J. Hatano) who grows poppies, but I don't think they ship. Sometimes a place called Mellano has them but they're not so good.
