Hi Megan and Landish Studios, these came from the LA market! They are actually not the variety I was supposed to receive, but they keep coming instead of oriental poppies. I think these are actually opium poppies....
Seriously? Would you mind telling which vendor? I've never seen those... there's usually only one vendor in LA (J. Hatano) who grows poppies, but I don't think they ship. Sometimes a place called Mellano has them but they're not so good.

I have an emotional, visceral reaction to these. They're freaking fantastic. Never seen anything like them on the LA market.
