maia's flowers

maia was an absolute breeze to work with. she has twinkly eyes and ended every email with a :)
these were her flowers. this was my first day working in the studio that wasn't summery. it was a bit chilly, it snowed on top of the fall leaves, the light was gray.....i loved all of it

The second to last photo is great. The flowers look all wrapped up to stay warm with the bits of snow sitting on the leaves. Great colours.

  3. Thanks Liza! I have both avante garde and bluebird roses in these. The bluebird photographed a bit brighter than they were. The more open they get, the nicer the color gets, i like them when they fade a bit.

  4. ooh thanks, Sarah! I just made some arrangements today with a very similar color scheme. Finding good purple roses can be tricky, but when it works it so totally works. Your flowers are always so lovely and inspiring!
